EL MUERTO REQUIEM, originally published in 2018 to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of El Muerto, returns to print in this trade paperback format. The centerpiece of the book is a full color 25 page El Muerto story featuring the Aztec goddess of beauty Xochiquetzal.
Also included is an in-depth interview with creator Javier Hernandez conducted by Dr. Theresa Rojas, Professor of English and Professor of Ethnic Studies. Rounding out the book is a guest artist gallery featuring El Muerto work by 10 visual artists.
