A futuristic re-telling of the classic Prodigal Son story. Simon Palatin is the youngest of two brothers living aboard their family Space-station in the year 2172. As the co-heir to his Father’s mining empire he should be living in luxury, so he decides to take advantage of his father’s generosity and cash in his enormous inheritance now. No more 9 to 5 work and no more taking orders from everyone. Ignoring his nagging conscience, he sets off to adventure and fine living exploring the solar system. While Simon sees fantastic places and people, he begins to miss the guidance and safety of home.
